Winner of Chicago Magazine's "Best Cocktail Party Entertainment" award in 2017, La Tosca performs sophisticated, yet supremely danceable music spanning gypsy jazz, Italian folk, classical music, and tango.
Performing songs in five languages, the quintet combines violin, guitars, upright bass, and accordion to create rich, energetic music that defies easy placement. Their sound evokes images of 1930's Parisian night clubs, romantic nights in Rome living La Dolce Vita, and sun-baked weddings in Sicily.
Founded by Italian singer and accordionist Andrea Falcone in 2014, the band has grown to include a virtuosic ensemble of musicians from France, Poland, Bolivia and America.
